Whole Truth About Animal Agriculture
ANIMAL AGRICULTURE IS INHUMANE
Meat, dairy, and egg production causes intense agony and result in premature death for the animals. It doesn’t matter if it’s a factory farm or a small mom-and-pop farm.
Proponents of animal farming refuse to recognize animals as individuals and fail to question the injustice of the arbitrary use of these individuals. Animal farms destroy the animals, the earth, and our humanity.
How do we regulate injustice and cruelty? How much is acceptable? How can we claim to care about the well-being of animals if we share the perspective of the profiteers and view animals as commodities instead of as the individuals they certainly are?
To help regulate exploitation is to become an exploiter. To assist animal-using industries is to betray the animals and ourselves.
LISTEN TO YOUR CONSCIENCE WITH A FIERCE HEART
Rajput warriors of India said that it is better to lose your head than to bow it in surrender to conquerors.
This ideal psychological perspective is much needed in our era of delusion and lack of conviction.
Tribe of Heart
Keeping the flame of truth alive in this new dark age of animal exploitation.
There is no such thing as humane food products made from animals.

WHAT YOU EAT IN FACTORY FARM HELL
USDA and FDA approved:
• Sand, rocks, dirt, and other debris in the manure.
• Animal byproducts nicely labeled as “animal protein products.” This includes internal organs, beaks, bones,
feathers, hair, hooves, intestines, blood, skin…and sometimes even euthanized cats and dogs, roadkill,
• Arsenic-based Roxarsone or Decoquinate, which for “broiler” chickens has the feeding directions:
Feed as the sole ration.
• More than 24 million pounds of antibiotics per year.
• Genetically-modified corn, which causes sickness and great pain.
THE BLEAK REALITY OF ANIMAL FARMS
All farming involves routine and severe physical and psychological abuse. Painful mutilations like debeaking, detoeing, tooth scraping, tail docking, dehorning and castration are the norm in all farms regardless of size and type. So is confinement, social deprivation, the serial rape euphemistically known as artificial insemination and the cruel separation of mother and child. And ultimately, all farmed animals whether used for egg, milk, or flesh are violently packed in trucks and forced to endure a horrifying slaughter.

A POINT TO PONDER ABOUT POOP
Cow manure from feedlots is considered toxic waste because it contains chemicals and heavy metals. These contaminants flow downstream and infect nearby waterways. Need proof? Just check out all the mutant frogs and fish with abnormal sex characteristics.
Toxic shit comes out of a poor cow. Imagine what is in the flesh of the cow that becomes hamburger.
By the way, flies and other intelligent insects refused to touch a McDonald’s Happy Meal so loaded with chemicals that it failed to decay after one year.
SUSTAINING THE UNSUSTAINABLE = THE COLLAPSE OF HUMANKIND AND MANY WILD SPECIES
The earth’s total farmed animal population is more than three and a half times the human population. More than 60% of American grain is fed to farmed animals. This means that people worldwide starve so wealthy consumers can indulge in porterhouse steaks.
Pollution from animal agriculture poisons the land, the air, the oceans, the rivers, wildlife, and our bodies.
SENATOR ROARK, A VILLAIN IN FRANK MILLER’S SIN CITY, SAID IT BEST
Power don’t come from a badge or a gun. Power comes from lying. Lying big and getting the whole damn world to play along with you. Once you’ve got everybody agreeing with what they know in their hearts ain’t true, you’ve got ’em by the balls.
Factory farming is the only problem. The meat, dairy, and egg industry folks can be reformed into kinder, gentler killers.
Organic animal farms are sustainable and humane.
There is no such thing as sustainable organic animal agriculture or humane food products made from animals.
ADDRESSES OF APPROXIMATELY 1,100 FEDERALLY-INSPECTED SLAUGHTERHOUSES ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY FROM ALABAMA TO WYOMING
A Directory of U.S. Slaughterhouses
THE FRAGILE REALITY OF SLAUGHTERHOUSES. THAT’S RIGHT. FRAGILE.
The existence of slaughterhouses seems like an invincible plague on the land. But to assume they will continue to exist
for a long time is a faulty assumption. They exist only because each of us has agreed to allow this reality. All social reality is created by agreement. Slaughterhouses then are just a flimsy social phenomenon. If we destroy that agreement, we destroy slaughterhouses.
Slaughterhouses were originally constructed out of thoughts, words, and language. We must now agree to knock down every last slaughterhouse to dust so our world will be remade.
We must make a new agreement with ourselves, the animals, and the earth.
THE FUTURE OF AMERICAN FARMERS
The end of animal agriculture would be good news for farmers. Many presently subsist under the deadly thumb of Monsanto, other agriculture-related corporations, and banks. Their deeply sorrowful personal experiences with the profiteers of agribusiness and incompetent federal government agencies have left them physically and emotionally exhausted. The lives of farmers will only improve when society shifts from earth-destroying animal agriculture to truly sustainable methods of growing vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.
PREFACE FROM OLD MACDONALD’S FACTORY FARM
Isn’t man an amazing animal? He kills wildlife—birds, kangaroos, deer, all kinds of cats, coyotes, beavers, groundhogs, mice, foxes and dingoes—by the million in order to protect his domestic animals and their feed. Then he kills domestic animals by the billion and eats them. This in turn kills man by the million, because eating all those animals leads to degenerative—and fatal—health conditions like heart disease, kidney disease, and cancer. So then man tortures and kills millions more animals to look for cures for these diseases. Elsewhere, millions of other human beings are being killed by hunger and malnutrition because food they could eat is being used to fatten domestic animals. Meanwhile, some people are dying of sad laughter at the absurdity of man, who kills so easily and so violently, and once a year, sends out cards praying for “Peace on Earth.”
